I drew this piece during the COVID-19 pandemic, after several friends and neighbours offered to help out my Mom and I.
You see, she had a hip replacement in January 2020, and was unable to drive for twelve weeks. I’m disabled and I can’t get to the shops by myself. Booking online shopping was working brilliantly up until the whole pandemic thing, and then we suddenly couldn’t get any delivery slots. I was running out of food for my rabbits, which was sending me into a bit of a panic. But then we had an influx of friends and neighbours who reached out to offer help 💓 They saved us, and we’re so thankful.
