I drew this piece in celebration of International Women’s Day 2021. I chose to letter these lyrics, by the wondrous Helen Reddy, as I feel that they encompass the magic of women. I really wanted to do these words justice, and further enhance how empowering they are. Sometimes (…okay, probably a lot of the time) I forget that I’m capable and strong, and the women in my life consistently remind me that I’m mistaken about that. I’m so very lucky to have them.
