I drew around a photo of this little munchkin as part of a challenge on Instagram. The challenge was to create a lettering piece that centres around an important animal in your life.
Originally I was going to include all five of my fluffbutts in one piece, but then I realised that that would be pretty cramped… so I decided that I’m going to do a little series of these instead. We adopted him when he was a teeny tiny pup with a broken tail and a lot of trust issues. We weren’t planning on adopting him, but we met him when we went to pick up our other doggo Harry from their foster home, and ended up going back for Chip when he was old enough to be adopted.
He’d been through a lot before being rescued, so he’s nervous of new people. But as soon as he trusts you, he instantly becomes your biggest fan. You know that friend that gets you really excited about something just because they’re really excited about something? That’s me and Chip with each other. And then when I’m not singing to him, and he’s not losing his mind with excitement over me singing to him, he’s usually curled up on me like a precious little piglet.
